Delivery/Shipping

  • How long will it take to get my order?

    We represent over 20 factories from right here in Langley to eastern Canada. Each factory has different timeframes which vary throughout the year. Most solid wood builds can be from 4-16 weeks and most sofas are the same. Mattress can be from 1-4 weeks. We encourage you to ask us at the time of sale for current lead times as we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • Do you remove old mattress and furniture?

    We have the ability to remove your old mattress and transport it to a recycler or donate your old furniture, please ask your sales associate for more information.

  • Do you deliver?

    Yes we deliver, we offer white glove delivery anywhere in the lower mainland and have options for curbside or even white glove delivery in other areas too.

  • How do I protect my fabric furniture?

    Canadian-made furniture is usually covered in 100% polyester fabric with very high rub counts. This means no more pilling, and it can be lightly cleaned. The best protection would be to purchase fabric spray.

  • Can I get water rings out of my furniture?

    Yes, you can. Cold and hot glasses can leave noticeable rings on wood surfaces. Hot Pizza boxes are the worst. “Water Mark Removers” can be found online, and we usually have them in stock.

  • How do I care for my wood products?

    A Swiffer can remove dust, and room temperature water with a microfiber cloth can remove fingerprints and spills. Always wipe in the direction of the grain. Never rub, as this will leave a shiny spot in the lacquer. A cold or hot object can also harm the lacquer.

    Taking good care of your furniture ensures its longevity. Furniture is made from carefully dried wood to acclimate to your home’s humidity. Wood continues to exchange moisture with the air, shrinking and expanding with humidity changes. Like skin, wood loses moisture and shrinks in dry air, but this corrects itself as humidity rises. This adaptability ensures durability. However, extremely dry air can cause wood to warp, which can be prevented by maintaining ambient moisture. Conversely, high humidity can cause wood to absorb excess moisture and expand, making drawers stick. This also corrects itself when humidity decreases, and the furniture’s quality and durability remain unaffected by these natural changes.
    To ensure that your solid wood furniture is not damaged by heat and humidity:

    • Use a humidifier in the winter and an air conditioner in the summer to maintain your home’s relative humidity between 25% and 30%.
    • Avoid placing solid wood furniture directly before radiators, fireplaces, or other heat sources.
    • Don’t expose the furniture to continuous, direct sunlight. Draw the curtains occasionally.
    • Store table leaves as close to the table; in an upstairs or main floor closet rather than a damp basement so they are in the same relative humidity.

  • My order is ready but my new home isn’t, do you charge to store my order?

    We do not charge for storage. Many of our customers are renovating or moving. We will keep your order safely in our storage until you need it.

  • Do you sell floor models?

    We always have some floor models for sale. We only sell from the floor if it is marked for sale.

  • Will I find lots of selection in your store?

    We have over 10,000 sq ft of furniture and mattresses and make weekly changes to show as much as possible!

  • Is all your furniture real wood?

    We only sell real wood. We are a proud solid wood dealer with our builders being across BC and Canada.

  • Is all your furniture customizable?

    All of our furniture is made to order, so you will have choice of colour. Most items can be customized to your unique preference. We can even build many items from a simple drawing.

  • Does your furniture need assembly?

    Our furniture comes out of the factory built. Beds and tables need to be put together in the home which our delivery team will do. Some stools and chairs need to be assembled depending on swivel mechanisms etc to protect them during transportation.

  • Why are there no prices listed?

    Mcleary’s is a made-to-order store. Stain, wood, fabric, hardware and transportation are all variables; this affects the price making it impossible to list accurately. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to supply the information you need.

  • Do you have sales or discounts?

    We offer a yearly Boxing Week Sale but year round we will package price, the more you buy, the more you save!

  • Do you have free parking?

    Yes, we have ample free parking, 7 days a week.

We love our new recliner chairs, great quality and always good service from Mcleary’s. We have purchased a lot of our furniture here and will continue to come here as they stand behind their products.

We have made two purchases from McLeary’s over the past few years, the most recent being a cabinet for our dining room, The piece that we receive was a really solid, well-crafted piece of furniture. However the handles were not aligned with each other, and the hardware that we selected didn’t appeal to us after having the unit in our place. We asked McLeary’s if there was anything they could be done about our issues, and they have taken the piece back to fix the misaligned handle, and to our great pleasure, are replacing the hardware , as well as fixing a superficial scratch on the top of the unit.

The really went above an beyond what we expected to keep us happy with our purchase, which is definitely what you want when making an investment in a great piece of furniture.

We bought a beautiful round table and chairs about 10 years ago & it is still my favorite piece of furniture. The solid heavy wood with the best pedestal is gorgeous. So now we have room to have a sideboard/ hutch and they were able to match the wood & color no problem. There is something to be said about dealing with a small (big heart/family owned) company. In 2016 we purchased a Van Gogh sofa from McLearys. Over the last year we had a couple of instances where the spring let go from the frame causing a slight sag. The sofa is otherwise like new so we inquired locally for Sofa repair and were quoted $800for the repair. I thought I would also reach out to McLearys to see if they could recommend someone to do the repair. To my surprise, Cam at McLearys advised that there is warranty on the sofa and they would follow up with Van Gogh. Not only did Van Gogh confirm they would do the repair under warranty , but McLearys also covered the cost of shipping the sofa to Van Gogh and the subsequent return.
Wow! That is absolutely outstanding service. Mclearys is a first class company and they have a customer for life. I have also told friends who were equally impressed. Thank you Cam for service second to none. You’re a rock star in my books.
